Have you heard Tsukudani(佃煮)?

Tsukudani(佃煮) is thinly- sliced seafood, meat or seaweed that has been simmered in Soy sauce and Mirin. Tsukudani and Rice is a good buddy, I mean they have good chemistry in your mouth. 

Cooked dried rock seaweed from Kyushu. It's flavorful of ocean scent. 

Just put it on your white rice.
